Oh, what a title, how do we start,
Now how do you explain love?
There are poets who say “let me count the ways”, of “let the rose among the thorns bloom with the power of the sun”, okay the last one is mine but you get just.
Everyone has a different explanation of love, what should you say? Feel? Do?
These are thoughts that can take over one’s head, take over the logical thoughts of a very logical person hence they saying “love makes you do stupid things” or “Love I blind”.
Both statements are correct, we tend to take the world in and ignore the problems when we are in love, now don’t get me wrong, we get confused between love and lust, a heavy cruse and be misconstrued as love.
Let’s try and unpack this a little, Love is meant to be unconditional, looking past all the problems you may face, their flaws are what make them perfect in your eyes, their inconsistencies engulf your soul, making love one of the most powerful emotion one can feel and the most dangerous, we do stupid things, we stay things we wouldn’t say, our actions aren’t our own.
All of this why would you want to fall in love it sounds stupid and unforgiving and it is, giving someone that amount of power, that amount of control should terrify you beyond measure.
Now for me, a hopeless romantic by nature, who believes the world will send you love in many different forms, show you love and take it away.
